Our academy program has been developed with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) long term player development model (LTPD). This model is built around 4 pillars, psychological, physical, technical and tactical development. The first three pillars are particularly relevant to the academy age group U6 – U8, with the tactical pillar being more appropriate to players above this age. 

We have introduced an additional pillar based on their social experience. The focus of the academy is to provide a fun, enjoyable and un-pressured environment for the children to play and flourish as people while developing a passion and love for the game of soccer.

The Play - Practice - Play model is our developmental model for WASC U6-U8 Academy players. Included is the U.S. Soccer's Free Online Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Education Module which provides more detail to the Play- Practice-Play philosophy:
